CLOSEAfter the SARs incident of 2003 Braxton developed a Pandemic response plan. This plan together with additional actions has enabled us to protect our employees and continue to supply our customers, especially supporting critical infrastructure manufacturers.
The work place has been modified to allow distancing and protection. Disinfecting is done on a daily scheduled basis with a full plant disinfection prior to a weekend shutdown eliminate any additional contamination. We require employees to protect their fellow employees and the company by, quarantining themselves if they are sick, wearing approved masks/coverups 100% of the time, and practicing distancing when possible. 100% daily temperature testing is in effect.
Identifying associations with the virus and quarantining is essential. Following CDC as well as internal controls for business and personal travel are critical. All employees are vetted upon return from time off and travel and/or association with anyone traveling. Our vetting includes controls for anyone associated with infection or being infected.
Deliveries, outside services, shipping and receiving activities are all controlled with vetting for any vendor or service entering the building. Entering is restricted to critical services and off times where ever possible.
Braxton's virus task force meets twice a week to review virus status, controls, critical supplies, as well as generate return to work approvals.
We have built inventory of supplies for safety and manufacturing, informing all suppliers we are a critical infrastructure supplier and expect their support. We reviewed our critical suppliers and review the risk associations to take actions, bringing in additional inventory, or monitor closely for changes to react quickly to an issue.
We will continually improve this response and control of the pandemic. Extensive pandemic response information is available upon request.
Sincerely,
Thomas R. Ordway
